News on DVD1 (Updated September 2019)
Considerable progress has been made: the preparation of the pages for both DVD1 and DVD4 has been completed and they have all been scanned. However there are problems with the scans and we are working with our scanning company to resolve these. Once these problems have been sorted we still have to do a significant amount of work to enhance the foolscap and A4 pages; this was always planned. In light of this, it would be unwise to promise a completion date at this stage.
Regarding DVD2, provided it can be done in a cost effective manner, we are planning to “piggy-back” a small second run onto the production of either DVD1 or DVD4. This will be announced here in due course.

Thank you for bearing with us whilst we continue to work on the early magazines, especially those produced between 1957 and 1968, which need to be digitally enhanced page by page to bring them up to the best standard possible for reproduction. Below is a sample, in this case, from 1963 to give you an idea of the work being undertaken to show the improvements.
Overall, DVD1 will cover the period from 1957 to 1981, and we will let you know when this will be available at a later date.
